Vietnam Production Unit

Our Vietnam production unit is located in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, operating from a three-storey house set up for sampling, small-batch production, and garment finishing.

As of 2026, the Vietnam team consists of 12 team members, working across management, sampling, sewing, cutting, finishing, packing, and sourcing support.

Vietnam Wage Model

Wages in our Vietnam production unit are structured using a mixed model, combining monthly salaries and per-order (piece-rate) payments, depending on role and responsibility.

All figures below are shown in Vietnamese Dong (VND) and reflect approximate monthly base pay, excluding additional per-order payments where applicable.

Management, Sampling & Operations
Role Monthly Pay (VND)
General Manager 42,000,000
Main Sample Maker 10,000,000
On-ground Assistant 10,000,000
Sampling Assistance 5,000,000 + PO payments
Online & Sourcing Assistance 5,000,000 + tech pack payments
Production Assistance & Cutting 3,000,000 + PO payments

Some roles receive additional payments tied to production volume, technical work, or purchase orders.

Sewing, Cutting & Finishing Team

Members of the sewing, cutting, and finishing team are paid per garment, based on output per purchase order (PO).

Based on production volume, some team members earn up to ~15,000,000 VND per month during higher-output periods, compared to ~10,000,000 VND per month in similar local factory roles for equivalent output. This structure allows skilled team members to increase earnings without extended working hours.

Working Hours & Conditions

A key difference between our Vietnam production unit and typical garment factories is working hours and flexibility.

  • No Saturday work — whereas many factories require full Saturday shifts
  • More consistent daily hours, rather than extended 10–12 hour days
  • Some roles allow flexibility or partial remote work where appropriate
We believe fair pay must be considered alongside working hours, job security, and conditions — not monthly figures alone.

Vietnam Wage Summary

Because wages in our Vietnam production unit are structured through a combination of monthly salaries and per-order payments, a single average wage figure would be misleading.

Based on internal payroll data and direct feedback from our team:

  • Overall earnings are comparable to or higher than local factory wages
  • Effective hourly rates are higher due to reduced working hours
  • Working conditions are consistently reported as more supportive and less stressful than previous factory roles

Additional Support

In addition to wages, our Vietnam team receives:

  • Stable, ongoing work
  • Paid leave in line with local requirements
  • Flexible arrangements when family or personal needs arise
  • Pay advancements when needed
  • A collaborative, small-team working environment
Wages and roles are reviewed regularly as part of our commitment to long-term, ethical employment. Currency conversions are not shown, as exchange rates and cost-of-living differences can be misleading.
